The trio comprise the core members of the band and are completed with the more recent and outstanding addition of Peter Adams (keys) and Ethan Gibbons (bass)\, \nJKB\, was launched in 2013 to support Jennifer’s first solo recording project\, Nothing’s Lost\, and enjoys a faithful following. In 2022\, Jennifer’s second album\, Stones to the Sea\, was released with a lively show right here at Aurora Borealis. \nJennifer\, known for soul-stirring vocals\, spends most of her musical time bringing the healing power of song to correctional facilities in Washington state. Hailed as “a marvelous Stratocaster player\,” Aaron is regularly featured on the Emerald City’s Guitar show\, Friends Pick Friday. When it comes to an inspired drum solo\, Jason Edwards delivers. Jason is the bedrock of the band\, expertly holding the canvas tight\, allowing other band members paint liberally! \nThis event is being hosted by RISE2hope\, where Jennifer Kelly is the Executive Director\, in celebration of 10 years of programs of hope and healing with our kin behind bars.

She has been named Best Jazz Vocalist in the Northwest eight times by readers of Earshot Jazz magazine\, most recently in 2021\, and was inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame in 2014. \nRespected voices in the jazz world sing her praises: Seattle jazz maven Jim Wilke highlights her “fearlessness in approaching material” that makes her “like an instrumentalist in a jam session\,” while renowned bassist and producer John Clayton calls her “one of the best jazz singers we have to boast about these days.” \nHer remarkable 40-year career has taken her to stages across Los Angeles\, Chicago\, New York\, and beyond. In their younger years while listening to the early contemporary R&B\, Jazz\, Blues\, Top 40 and Gospel music\, as well as the current music of the day\, they started Experemixing\, ((our new favorite word)) with these Musical styles\, Grooves\, and Vocals and this led them to creating their own style of music and performing it at their Fathers Club\, “The Brothers Tavern” in Everett Washington. \nOver the years they have since honed and crafted their own special style of live music and love any chance they get to perform. On stage\, they have fun and keep you entertained\, by engaging with their audience. It becomes infectious\, as Brohamm keeps the energy upbeat and lively with songs from the old school Motown Philly Classic Soul to the new upbeat Funky R&B songs of today and yesterday\, that everybody knows. The Band keeps the party going with that seriously funky Brohamm Groove along with the Rich Vocal Harmonies they’ve learned and crafted together over the years. \nFilling out the rest of the Bands rhythm section and background vocals\, are * Gary Tobin- our Master Guitarist\, Background Vocalist\, soloist\, Band Leader and Band Member\, * James Paulter- our very Talented Keyboardist\, Background Vocalist\, and all thing necessary for any Band to have\, including Jokes\, and * Bailey Richard- Background Vocalist\, and one of the Baddest and Funkiest dancing Bass players around\, and sings Background Vocals. \nBrohamm’s music will keep you Dancing with their exceptional musicianship\, distinctive rich and Soulful Vocal Harmonies\, or if you wish\, just sit back\, and listen to their creative way they arrange and perform songs. \nBROHAMM BAND-WE BRING THE PARTY
