$10 donation requested to help send the final musicians to Memphis!
The Washington Blues Society is now accepting applications for the 2026 Journey to Memphis competition, where one outstanding Band and one Solo/Duo act will earn the opportunity to represent the Pacific Northwest at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in January 2027.
This year’s competition takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Aurora Borealis, featuring both the Semi-Finals and Finals in one exciting day of live blues competition.
🎸 Solo/Duo Entry Fee: $25
🎸 Band Entry Fee: $40
Applications will be accepted through July 10, 2026.
To compete, at least one member of the act must be a current Washington Blues Society member and reside in the Pacific Northwest. Not a member yet? You can join today and become eligible to compete!
This is more than a competition—it’s a chance to showcase your talent, connect with the blues community, and take your music to an international stage.
